Independent help. Clear about its limits.
Sakshya helps people affected by cyber fraud in India organise their first steps and find official reporting channels. It is free to use and does not require an account.
What Sakshya can help with
The site provides a rule-based first-steps guide, on-page checklists, fraud-awareness articles and publicly listed police contact information. A helper can use it with a parent, friend or another affected person. No AI provider processes user answers in this version.
What Sakshya is not
Sakshya is not a government service, bank, police office, law firm or emergency service. It does not submit reports, recover funds, freeze accounts, track official cases or guarantee outcomes. General information here is not individual legal or financial advice.
How contact details are sourced
The directory reproduces public contact details from official police and government sources. Every contact card provides a source link, source-check date and stated jurisdiction. Missing or unclear details are omitted rather than invented. Officer assignments and contact details can change; phone lines and email delivery are not independently tested.
Be clear about district coverage
State and union-territory contacts cover all 36 states and UTs. The local directory currently lists 15 Delhi police districts, seven selected Kerala offices and Mumbai Central Region. Other areas receive state-level contacts. A missing local listing does not mean the district has no cyber police office.
Your answers stay in your browser
The current guide keeps incident choices, state, district and checkmarks in this tab’s memory. They are not sent to Sakshya’s API or saved in local storage. Reloading clears them. The site loads the same public contact directory for everyone and matches locations locally.
How to check this information
Use the official source links, confirm police jurisdiction before visiting, and follow the current instructions of the relevant authority. Content-check dates identify an editorial check, not legal endorsement or proof that a listed officer is currently in post.
